First Real Snow

Snow flurries have taunted us the past few weeks, but the flakes haven't stayed longer than an hour. We finally had a sticking type of snow yesterday. In fact, we spent a lot of time driving around in it.

The kids couldn't pass up the opportunity to bundle up and head outside. They immediately made angels, snowballs, and the humble beginnings of a snow fort.

Unfortunately, we discovered how ill prepared our kids are for snow play.

They had to wear Mom and Dad's old bibs and boots to avoid the cold and wet. Time to go shopping...

Shelby is ready for the season however. She proudly wears her Santa dress an hour or so each day.
