Christmas 1995
This picture may not count, since we weren't officially married yet. It was taken at the Mesa, Arizona Temple during an infamous Colyar Christmas Caroling Adventure. That's my cousin Abby on my shoulders.

Christmas 1996
In this photo we'd been married a year. We had taken a trip to the family cabin up in Lakeside, Arizona. This was to be our last stay at our honeymoon destination since the cabin burned down 4 months later (it wasn't our fault).

Christmas 1997
This is our new baby boy Jacob! It's too bad I couldn't find a cuter picture of him. He really was a good looking kid, once the baby acne cleared up. The scrapbooks are boxed up somewhere...

Christmas 1998
This one is one of my favorites. Poor Santa!

Christmas 1999
Emma will be on her way shortly. She's still incubating in my tummy.

Christmas 2000
Our little millenium baby arrived the first of the year, and our lives haven't slowed down since.

Jacob was a sweet brother to Emma, most of the time.

Christmas 2001
We must have crashed the 1st ward Christmas bash that year. That has to be Dennis Pay playing the part of Santa, and I think Cal and Amy Bowler took this picture.

Christmas 2002
When we lived with my parents, the kids went to Trinity United Methodist Preschool (TUMPS). This was a little dinner fund-raiser at the church.

Isn't he a great looking Santa?
This was taken at another Crazy Colyar Christmas party. Santa is played by one of my goofy uncles. Emma's not so sure about all this...
Jake is a little more brave.
Hey! We're not to old to sit with Santa.
We were living in Sun City by this time. This was our first Lake Pleasant Ward Christmas Party. We sure miss our friends there!
Let's see...Jacob must be in 2nd grade, and Emma is in Kindergarten here.
Ahhh. The Phoenix Zoo Lights. Chilly enough to get you in the mood for Christmas, but not so cold you go numb.
This was our last party in Lake Pleasant Ward before the big move to Ohio. They had to haul in snow for the kids to play in.

Where has the time gone!? What fun to look back at Christmas' past and remember. Thanks for sharing with us and helping us remember too. Looks as if you are going to have a white Christmas there in Perrysburg. Enjoy it because it will be another memory for you someday.
I love this blog because it doesn't seem you are THAT far way.
I loved that Audrey! How fun. Merry Christmas Saunders Family :)
What a wonderful trip down Memory Lane. I'm a little teary, okay, I admit it. How can the years have flown by so quickly since your Jacob and Emma were tiny little ones? I remember so many of these occasions -- riding the big crazy Colyar bus to see the temple lights, posing with Uncle Santa in Grandma's room, Glendale 1st Ward parties, etc. Loved it -- thanks, Audge!
How time flies!! I hope you guys have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
