Safety Monitor

Jake is very proud to be a member of the Safety Patrol at school. This responsibility requires him to help younger students on and off the buses, escort kindergartners to their classes, raise the flag, hold signs, and assist the bus driver as needed. The coolest part of his job is wearing the sash.

We are so proud of Jacob for this. He did it all on his own. One day, he came home and told us that he wasted to do it. We told him to go for it. Then he came home a couple of days later with a smile and a sash. He was so excited to have been selected for this duty. It is a very nice feeling to have you child do something good without your prodding. We are very proud.
